Project Competition for Food Engineering Students - World Food Day !

The winners of the third Annual Project Competition, "Health and Food: Design of New Food Products and Processes", organized by ITU Food Engineering Department and Dünya Gida Journal was announced on 16th of October 2003.  In addition, a panel was organized on "Food and Health:New Trends".

 

The First Degree:  Dilek Saglam, Hicran Koç, Esra Çakir (ITU Food Engineering Department)

Biscuit with Taflan (A dried fruits grown in BlackSea region) : Low Caloric and Diabetic

Award ($1000) is being presented by Mrs. Didem Demirkent Ersinan who is Chief Executive Director of Dunya Press.

The Second Degree: Ayça Yumlu and Sükran Somuncuoglu (ITU Food Engineering Department)

Healthier Food For Children:Probit

Award ($750) is being presented by Professor Dilek Boyacioglu who is chairwoman of ITU Food Engineering Department.

The Third Degree: Serap Gül and Resul Dilsiz (ITU Food Engineering Department)

The Joyful Drink: Kephir

Award ($500) is being presented by Mr. Cevdet Yanardag who is the Project development Director of Kalekim Inc., Co.
